How to Secure a Fly Fishing Wing Case

"ALVIN DEDEAUX: All right, now we gotta take this wing case that's sticking up here, fold it over and tie it down. So what we do is just grab it--all the fibers together, pull them forward, and I use my other hand to hold it down and sort of pinch it. I'm going to grab my thread, do a couple of quick wraps while I hold it to keep it in place. Now this is kind of tricky because you want to make sure you don't crowd it up too close to the eye of the hook. So I'm going to put that--see that's a little too far so I'm going to scoop my thread back a little bit and try that again. So let's see. That should do it. Yeah, now that's a lot better. So there's one. I got it. Got it folded over and tied down. And you can see I've got a few little fibers sticking out here, but that will be our last step."
