"ALVIN DEDEAUX: Okay, so now we're going to select our peacock hurl for the rest of the body, and this is some pretty cool stuff. Probably I want to get maybe four or five strands of it and just try to get some fairly long strands that are about the same length. Since we're going to be wrapping them all, we don't want to have like too short strands and then run out. So I'm just going to grab them, pull them out. The bottoms are not going to be very useful so kinda even those up, clip off that little piece there at the bottom and take a look at them. Yeah, that's pretty good. I got a little short piece in there. I'm going to pull that out. And that is about right. That's about the amount that I'm going to want for this fly, next section of my peacock. My Pheasant Tail Nymph is the peacock hurl."
