"ALVIN DEDEAUX: Okay, so now we want to put on our wing case. We want to get some more pheasant tail fibers to make that wing case. These are going to be tied on, and we're going to tie the thick end on and then we're going to fold that whole thing over once we put our peacock hurl on. So it's got to be long enough to be tied in, then fold over the peacock hurl and then tie it off near the front of the fly, maybe not as thick as the tail fibers but you still want to get a pretty good-sized clump. Don't have to cut them all the way down near the bottom because we're going to use like the midsection and the tip more than anything else. So I just cut it off, like so. All right. Look at that. Now that looks about right. Usually if you put it down on where you going to tie it in, if it goes back, you know, kind of the same length as the tail, it should be long enough to fold over and then have a little bit of extra hanging out so you'd tie it off. So that's about the right amount right there."
