"ALVIN DEDEAUX: All right. Now we're going to attach the wire ribbing, pull out and just make sure I have enough. And I'll use my wire cutters; don't use your scissors because cutting the wire with your scissors will mess them up pretty quick. Okay, I'm just going to put that down, because I'll start back at the bend of the hook. I want this wire to start from the very back of the fly. So I'm just going to lay that down parallel, almost all the way to the front of the hook, and then I'm just going to trap it here, right near the tail, and then just wrap that thread forward. And I'm sort of kind of building up a little bit of a tapered body, you know, starting thin here and getting fatter as I move towards the point of the eye of the hook. So I'll go ahead and make a couple of wraps up here, really lock that down well, and then just bring it back, back to right where I tied my tail in because everything starts back here at the back of the hook. Okay, so I've got my wire ribbing attached, and I'm going to spin my hook again, get my thread out of the way, and I'm ready for the next step."
