"ALVIN DEDEAUX: Now, we're on the water. So the first thing we need to do is get the line from here to out there. And the way we're going to do that is by pulling off however much line we want to cast. You can just pull it off. You can let it fall on the ground or wherever you are, and then we're going to use the rod tip to get this line out there. And basically, what you do is drop your rod tip close to the water and just kinda stroke it back and forth, left and right, and see how it pulls that line out there. Now, we're ready to start casting. You can also--if you watch here, you can see how that stroke in the rod left and right like that will just pull that line out. Nothing to it. Do that again. Just make a snappy motion and we're ready."
