"So, the last thing to finish off this leech is to whip finish it and glue the head. We've made a few wraps here, and tapered it out, so as we're whip finishing it, we want to make sure we kind of continue to taper that out. Maybe make a couple of wraps back here, kind of move them forward and do your whip finish. So, take my tool, hook it on near the fly, hook it on back here, do a little twist, make that four with it, and once again, I'm wrapping this thread around this thread and the hook shank to lock that thread so that it doesn't come loose. Like I said, this is a pretty durable fly, so to make it even more durable, I'm going to go ahead and do a second whip finish before I glue it. I'm going to try to keep consistent with the little taper that I've already formed with my thread head. Second whip finish. Clip it off nice and close. Now really want to make sure this cement really soaks in so I'm going to get it on there all the way around, get a little more on there. I really want to soak it in. Like I said, this is a really durable fly, so I want to make sure I do everything I can to make it last as long as possible. So, there it is, the rabbit strip leech."
