"The next topic we are going to cover is Recovery. That's basically the ability to recover mentally and physically from the wear and tear on your body from running. The most important part of the recovery is going to be getting an adequate night sleep. It allows your body to heal, recover and get back to where it needs to be so you can be 100% for the next day's activities and the next day's run. The next thing is going to be supplements that might help with the recovery. Post run ideally a shake, a recovery shake with weight protein, would allow your body to repair the broken down muscle tissue. Finally if you have joint problems, possibly a Glucosamine or MSM supplement will allow your joints to stay lubricated so you can continue running pain free."
