"Next I'm going to show you a Barbell Shrug. The exercise that's going to work on your traps. So what you want to do again is grab a weight that is comfortable but challenging. You want to square your feet about a shoulder width apart. Keep your back straight. I'm going to start this exercise with your back straight and shoulders back. Again, necks is neutral through your spine. And what you want to do is just bring that weight up using your trapezius muscles in nice slow and controlled motions. Again, neck is neutral through your spine. Now if you like, if you want to hit this exercise from a different angle what you do is step over and grab the bar and hold it behind you. Same thing, bring that weight up with nice slow and controlled movements holding the bar behind you is going to allow you to attack the muscle from a different angle. Couple more and hold. Again, notice once again toes are square facing forward and the knees are always bent. And that's a Barbell Shrug."
