"I'm going to really work with my core strength with the next headstand. I'm going to come into staff while I'm in headstand. I'm going to be engaging my core as I lower my legs down and come into like a little 'L' shape there. So coming into my headstand first. Measuring off, making my tripod. Placing that spot on the head. Making sure I'm comfortable and I'm not adding too much stress to my neck and shoulders. Tucking toes, slowly straightening those legs. Walking until I have a nice straight spine. And lifting. Now coming into Staff while you're in headstand. First, without flexion of the feet, just start lowering down. I am engaging my core muscles as I come down. And when I feel like I'm in a little bit of an "L" shape, then I flex the feet. Really keep pulling in through the core. And then releasing the flexion. Lifting the legs up. Finding my headstand. And then gently lowering down and giving myself a little bit of a rest in child pose."
