"Okay, next we're going to have John from Altitude Fitness demonstrate elevated push-ups. Let's do it John. Push-ups are going to work your chest, your shoulders and the back of your arms, helping you to build muscle. The more muscle you build the faster your metabolism will go, the more calories that you will burn. As you notice, John's going nice and slow and under control which is going to protect his joints. He's breathing out as he comes up. He's trying to keep a neutral body, neutral position of his upper body. As John continues on here you notice the higher that he puts his feet up, the more difficult the exercise becomes. So if flat push-ups are a challenge; elevate your feet and go to elevated push-ups and you'll be working a bit harder."
