"Warrior one is a traditional yoga pose that also can be brought into your prenatal practice. Emily, I'm going to have you stand to the side facing me. We're going to have you take a nice giant step forward with your right leg. If you're a little unsteady, please work with a chair or the wall. A little bit further. You want to drop that back heel slightly. Perfect. Notice how her hips and shoulders are facing forward. She's going to be gently bending the right knee. Never allowing it to pass that ankle. Perfect. Stopping right there. Dropping the arms to the sides. Inhaling, arms all way up. Perfect. Once you get into the pose, I want you to be very mindful of this back leg being nice and strong. Really engaging that thigh muscle. Allowing that knee to pass the ankle. Powerful pose. Beautiful pose. Traditional pose. Hold it for one more breath. To come out of it, take a deep in hale. As you exhale, release the arms slightly off to the sides. Beautiful. Just sweep them. Straightening out that right knee and then step forward. Perfect."
