"One of the many joys of pregnant is heartburn and we have a nice little pose here for Emily to either relieve it or prevent it. This one is called Heartburn Prevention. Sit facing back away from the chair and I've placed a blanket here to make sure she is nice and comfortable. It is in two parts so we're going to come into the first part. She has got her hands gripped on to the chair. I'm going to have you lean back, keeping the spine and neck in nice alignment, perfect. Now round your chin, tuck the chin under. Now she starts to get a nice expansion across the belly. Now tuck the belly and hang back. Really release, really spreading across that back and start to breath. Very important, the exhales, very long, very complete, lovely. Deep inhale, exhale out completely. I'm going to have you come into a count. I'm going to have you inhale to the count of four, exhaling to six, long beautiful complete breath. Oh better than six, perfect, one more, come in, deep breath and exhale out as long as you can. Perfect. Let's come into the second part. Pull yourself forward, now drape yourself forward and come back to where the armpits are. Now you see why the blanket makes it a little bit more comfortable. Now drop the chin down and let the arms just hang. Perfect. Now she is getting like a gentle stretch across the back and if you've got a friend with you, you kind of want to help them, stretch relief. Maybe you could give them a nice little back massage running both hands down the sides of the spine and again now start that breath, long deep inhales and exhaling out completely. Stay in this pose for as long as you need."
