"A nice way to stay connected to your breath at the beginning of your practice is like a Cobbler Breath Flow. Emily is going to be demonstrating it for us. Very important breath flow, keeping the spine in the neck in nice alignment and never tucking the chin because it just kind of rounds the back and then you lose the benefits of the flow. Emily I am going to have you bring your hands to namaste, heart center. Take a nice deep inhale and exhale out completely. Center yourself. Inhale with arms all the way up, exhale, slight forward fold keeping that neck in a nice alignment. Inhaling up, exhale and relax it down, inhaling up nice and tall straight spine. Exhale, use that exhale, relax and open the hips. Inhale up and exhale namaste. Bring the hands down heart center. Beautiful. Close your eyes."
