Video Transcript

"So the final pose I am going to show is a backbend which is a pretty deep opening for the front of the chest. So you want to make sure the feet stay nice and even. Sitting up nice and tall begin to lower your torso to the floor. Connect your hands so they are going to come alongside your head, fingers pointing towards your shoulders. Stabilize with the feet as you start to lift your hips up and then take the crown of your head to the floor, draw the tops of your arm bones in and then press all the way up into wheel. Try to feel that you are extending your knees away and your chest away from the center of your torso, lengthening out in both directions. Inhale deeply then exhale bending your elbows, head to the floor. Slowly release down and then you can end with a shivasana extending the legs up, palms to face up resting."
