" Welcome to Expert Village. This is Fran Dukehart. You can also use the ball to learn this exercise. Again, we are going to have our knees a little bit wider apart. We are going to hold on to the ball and lift it again, giving that sense of centered feeling abdominal energy, and then slowly coming forward letting the spine release, one vertebra at a time, and else we come forward, we can lift the knees and the head can go to the side, you feel the back of the neck getting long, kind of the head coming down, and depending on the size of your ball your feet may be centering you and keeping you anchored, and then when you release, you inhale, come up and you arch the back. Exhale, release and cat tilt. Inhale, lifting, arching the back and exhale. So, the intention is to allow the ball to be a safe place for us to move from. Make sure that you have a mat underneath, so that you can feel that you are stable and you won’t let the ball slip away. From my center to your center… Namaste."
