" Welcome to Expert Village. This is Fran Dukehart. We are going to look at…from the centered place, using our neutral spine awareness, we are going to move in and out of cat tilt, where we arch the back and then dog tilt, where we reverse the arch. So what our intention is to elongate the spine. We want to move mindfully, slowly. Again, using the breath, let the breath lead the movement and find joy through this movement. So, we will begin by just rubbing the hands together, gently rubbing the knees and being ready to get on our hands and knees, placing the hands, fingers wide apart like a star right underneath the shoulders. The knees are right underneath the hips, hip width apart the knees are placed and we lengthen the spine finding that long neutral back. Exhale, drop the chin, inhale, lift the chin, the heart and face up, curve the back, inhale lengthening, exhaling, arching the back, inhale, neutral and exhale lift. So, the whole idea is to feel how the spine can lengthen and the pelvic floor can tilt, and that affects the spine. From my center to your center… Namaste."
