Video Transcript

"So similar to stabilizing your lower back with your abdominals, you can learn to stabilize your shoulders by extending your fingertips up towards the ceiling and trying to create a movement without taking your shoulder blades off your back. Stabilizing from the front of the body, opening there, expanding between your chest. So this stabilization exercise is reaching the fingertips behind you and then drawing the arm back up, keeping the shoulders stably secured on the floor. As you exhale, the opposite arm can reach overhead. Inhale. Draw the fingers back up. And exhale, alternating again, keeping the neck long and the chest open so you are broadening in the shoulder girdle and feeling the shoulder blades connecting onto the back. "
