Video Transcript

"The first thing we are going to go over is how to forward fold so that there is not any strain on your back as you extend or lean forward. So what you want to try to think of doing is creating a length in your lower back. So that might happen by bending your knees as much as you need to try to feel like there is a lower extension of your back as you fold forward, either reaching towards the floor or reaching forward towards an object so that there is not a strain around your spinal column but it's long and extended. And then when you work toward standing up pressing into your feet, grounding to your feet to lengthen your torso out."
