"I'm Christopher Howell I'm here to talk to you with Expert Village about running. It can be running in general, it can be running to get yourself in better shape, maybe stress relief. Now when it comes to running in recreation, you got to remember the number one thing is stress relief. Most people are really trying to set themselves up for a certain, particular goal, which is kind of getting out there, doing your own thing, just kind of get away from everyday life. You may wear a watch; if you are going for stress relief, I recommend that you don't wear a watch. You kind of leave the cell phone at home, you leave the watch at home. All you get is your basic running attire, a few sips of water, and just put everything down and let everything go and begin your run. Now when it comes to recreational and you are getting used to things and then you decide that you want to switch over, maybe going over some type of competition, you just got to sit back and think of things, you know is this something that I really want to do, do I really want to push myself and push myself. If it is something that you really want to do, then start by, before you go to any type of competition, pushing yourself on an everyday basis and run until your heart is content and then go ahead and get back to reality. That is running for recreation."
