"Hi! I'm Christopher Howell, and I'm speaking on behalf of Expert Village. The day before you actually want to hydrate yourself. Because when it comes to the day of the event, when you come out there and you find yourself lacking in water, or you just don't have what is takes and you start getting dehydrated, it is a really horrible feeling and it just it takes away all your energy, and you got to stop and take time to hydrate. By then it could be too late; you could have a bad headache. Now I found in general that water is water, Gatorade is Gatorade. As long it is not a soda or carbonated product, it shouldn't really make too much of a difference. A lot of people beg to differ but I found growing up living in Georgia, Florida, Texas, Ohio, drinking water from spigots, water fountains, water bottles, Gatorade, whatever you drink water is a water; it is a substance you know. It is there to help you fill yourself up, stay hydrated and just keep on going. It is just mind over matter. If you don't mind what you take in, it really doesn't matter. The taste may vary. It may change from well water to city water but water is water, Gatorade is Gatorade; just whatever it takes to hydrate yourself. "
