"Hi! I'm Christopher Howell. I'm here to talk to you with Expert Village about running. It could be running in general, it could be running to get yourself in better shape, maybe stress relief or it could even be for a competition. Okay, I began running probably in the 6 grade and it was something you know that everyone was doing; maybe a fad type thing and everyone was going out for the track team, so I decided hey, lets go out for track and see what it is all about. The girls were doing it, the guys were doing it so it was more of a popularity type thing. Once I got out there, I began to realize this is something that I kind of like to do. Everyone is out here, they got there thing, there niche in life, certain type of sport. Mine just happened to be running. I get out there and the time would seem to fly by. I see people in front of me, behind me, I begin to relax and I got faster and faster and better and better. Before I knew it, the coach was spending more time with me as a individual saying hey Chris, you got a real potential in this type of sport. The main places that I got my knowledge when it came to running was first in was track and then it was soccer, and then football, and then wrestling. Then in every sport they hammer you, they teach you a new way to run, they teach you about sprints, they teach you about stamina but it seems the more things you get yourself involved with, the easier it becomes. The more techniques you learn and the better you get to know your own body you know what is best for yourself. A lot of people have a lot of different techniques but that is there own techniques. You got to know your own technique; that comes from experience. "
