"So when you're ready to add the jump rope to your equipment toolbox, keep it simple. Most jump ropes can be purchased at just about any sports store, any store that sells balls or bats, sells jump ropes. Now, there's a variety of jump ropes to get, this one right here is a plastic with a nylon strip inside and it has plastic handles. Easy to grip and it's very durable as well. You can really kick it up a notch by getting the jump ropes that have a barbering fixture in the handles. Those are mostly for the advanced jump roper when they do tricks and advanced movements or play it with other people. Most important thing to do is make sure it's a good size and also make sure you also have a good pair of shoes and a good jump rope and surfaces well."
