" Hi! My name is Corey Beasley, owner of DNA Fitness. I’m going to walk you through a couple different variations with some light equipment for some push-ups. We’re going to start out with pushups on dumbbells. A lot of times when people are doing pushups, their hands are here and they have lot of pain in the wrists as they are doing it. One way to alleviate that is just to have some regular dumbbells. You’re going to drip those dumbbells. Obviously, by doing that it keeps the wrists straight so it alleviates some of that pressure. Push ups the same. You’re going to have your feet out, body straight, stomach tight, and come straight down and press up. You’re looking at it from the side here. Again, wrists are straight, alleviates that pain, stomach is tight, straight down, backup. Couple of other variations if you have a medicine ball. This is going to create a little bit of instability, so it’s going to be little bit more difficult. Push up the same, hands on the ball, fingers pointed towards the floor, you’re going to bring it down, and back up. Another one, you’re going to come on do a bigger physio ball or yoga ball. You can come down here; again, it creates some instability, it’s a more advanced movement. Fingers pointed towards the floor, bringing your chest down, and back up. There are three more variations with some light equipment; physio ball, the dumbbells, and the medicine ball. That’s a few more variations for you there on the push up."
