" Hi! My name is Corey Beasley, owner of DNA Fitness. We’re going to run through a few pretty advanced movements for the pushup; utilizing the medicine ball and physio ball. The first one I’m going to start with is you’re going to be doing just like almost like a regular pushup, but you’re going to have one hand up on the medicine ball. One hand is on stable, you’re going to come down, and press up. Flip it over to the other hand. Again, coming down, pressing up; kind of shocks your nervous system, gives it a couple of more things to think about. Next variation you can do is a little bit more explosive. As you come up, you’re going to switch that ball over. You can just go back and forth. Obviously, very advanced but great for athletes on proprioception, getting that explosiveness that you’ll be utilizing in your sports. Utilizing the physio ball, obviously you have this regular pushup you can do on the physio ball. You want to make it a little more challenging; you can come down and explode up. Obviously much more difficult. You want to take that one step further. You can start off, come down, and explode and add a little bit of movement laterally. Obviously, just shocking your nervous system, challenging your muscles in a lot different angles, and that will make it lot more beneficial, lot more relatable toward the sport. There are a few more advanced variations for you."
