"CINDY MASTRY: In this clip, Faith is going to use the strap to come in to a shoulder stretch with a twist. So we're going to have Faith come forward and standing with her feet just a little bit more than hip-width distance apart. Good. She's going to lengthen up. It's very important to always lengthen through your spine and find your center when you're coming into your yoga poses, so reaching to the crown of the head. And she's going to take the strap and bring it up over her head and find a comfortable "V" keeping the strap taut and her shoulders down. Shoulder blades go down the back. Good. So you never want to have your shoulders up in the ears. Right. So she's going to inhale and lengthen up to the crown of the head. As she exhales, she is going to rotate towards the side. Good. Keeping that strap taut so that it keeps her shoulders and her hands in line. So she's not allowed to rotate her shoulder forward because the strap is preventing her from doing that. Good. Exhaling back to center and she's going to inhale over to the other side. Good. And notice how she's getting just a gentle twist all through the side body and as the twist grows as it comes up to her shoulders. Good. Exhale back to center. She's going to inhale and rotate staying in alignment. Good. Strap helps stay in that alignment. Exhale back to center and then inhaling over to the other side one last time and exhaling back to center. "
