Video Transcript

"Hello! This is Cherie Krieger on behalf of expertvillage.com. We are continuing on with our sports massage of the upper body. We are going to be working with the arms and showing techniques on how to massage the arm. Next we are going to do the closed fist routine going up the arm. I find that this particular technique helps me spot areas in the lower arm that might be in need of more work. A lot of people have trouble with the lower arm especially if they are tennis players or work at a computer a lot using the closed fist technique here, using your legs to lunge and give more pressure for your body. Next we are going to do some more cross-fiber going across with the palms closed and putting pressure. Next I am going to go in and do some deeper work with the forearm here and find the spots that might need more work. I'm going in with my thumbs in a circular rotation motion to loosen up the tight areas. I use my thumbs to help target the spots that need to be worked and as you notice, I am using my hip. I have replaced my elbow into my hip and I am using my entire body and lunging my hip as the motion to go in much deeper. "
