"Hello! This is Cherie Krieger on behalf of expertvillage.com. We are continuing on with our sports massage working the scapula and upper shoulders including the upper part of the arm. First we are going to back to the compressions using the forearm compressed into the spine. As you can notice I put my other arm behind my back. This technique helps keep your back straight. Once again using the forearm with a little bit of pressure into the elbow to run up and down beside the spine and then using the hands to gently knead to start with part of the shoulder and the using the entire hand and palm and squeezing the shoulder the upper traps. This is a very good position to address this particular area of the trapezoids because usually these muscles are nice and relaxed in this position. "
