"Hello! This is Cherie Krieger on behalf of expertvillage.com. We are continuing on with our sports massage concentrating on the back and the upper extremities, the arms. We are going to use the knuckles to run across the scapula here, slowly; just stretch the muscles. Then we are going to use the forearm to do some pressure on the recto spine towards the spine. This is compression and it helps stretch the muscles out and open them up. You can actually go all the way from the scapula edge to the spine slowly and then you can put more pressure with your elbow and go up the spine and over the shoulder blade. This nice rocking motion is for excellent for loosening up the upper part of the shoulder and it also feels very good. "
