"Hi. I'm Angela Martindale. And the first step to your transformation is understanding what you're doing wrong. I have clients walk into my studio and tell me they've got a big part in a movie, they're getting married in three months; they've got an award ceremony. First step is knowing what you're doing and stopping it. So after I calm the individual down, I ask them for a food journal. It's really important to start writing what you're eating at least four to five days of what you're consuming, drinking, and eating and the time of day. And then we go through activity. What are they doing? Where, how, what's your cardio vascular exercise? Are you moving? And then I go through stresses in your life. What's your job like? Family life. Do you have a support system? So once I've gathered all that information of what they're eating, how they're exercising, their stress load, their support system, we start to create a snapshot of their before and where they would like to be after. Once you know where you are, and you know where you want to go, and what you really want to create, we begin to create a transformation plan. And my philosophy is be, do, have. Be what that person would be, have what that person has, and do what that person would do. So eat what she would eat, exercise how she would exercise, and have the appearance and the body and stamina and the energy that that person would have. So as an A-list celebrity or famous model, they know where they have to get to. They're told by the production company and their Director, "you have to get down to a certain weight". So they know what they have to be at. So be, do, have, be what that person would be, do what that person would do and have what that person has, we have to create a plan to get you to your end result. Let's say for example I get a call from a New York model agency. They have a model that needs to be a certain weight, have a skill, a strength, to climb a tree in a photo shoot. And they have to have a clear, beautiful complexion."
