"Hi, my name is Brian Langey; I am the owner of On the Road Personal Training and Athleticism Training and Performance. You can reach me at ontheroadpt.com. Some important things to remember as far as safety goes is if you have not been exercising for a while or if you are new to exercising you would want to consult a physician that would help you to know what levels that you should start out and make sure that you are doing things safely. Also if you are not comfortable with any particular piece of machinery, whether it be a cardiovascular piece or a strength piece then I would seek out a certified personal trainer or someone again like that who could help you and make sure that you are doing the exercises correctly. If anytime that you are exercising and you feel dizzy or lightheaded, you want to stop immediately and you want to make sure that the machines that you are using fit you and fit the goals that you want to accomplish. Like for particular, this type of machine, if you are someone who has low back issues, you would not probably want to use an upright bike, you would want to use a recumbent bike. And then also starting out gently and working into your fitness program rather than jumping right on and doing like 30 or 40 minutes. You want to start slow and progress in your goals. These machines will help you do that with the different programs that they have, I would again suggest that you jump into a manual program and start with that first and then you could progress at your own pace. You can increase resistance at your own pace; you can increase the duration of the exercise at your own pace as well. So any of these programs will start out with giving you different features that they can put you through like a hill program or a random program, a cardiovascular fitness program, a weight loss program, but the manual program is much more easily controlled by you and that way you can input the information that you want into it."
