"Push-up with a stability ball is definitely an advanced movement. Make sure that you've got it down pat on the floor first. Even if you're still on your knees, I'd like to see you progress to doing a full push-up before you try it on the ball. Like I said, you got a partner that can anchor that ball for you while you get your feet up there, that's cool. If not..again, you're going to be in what's called basically a "plank position". The closer you have the ball in towards your knees, the less momentum you're going to have to control. Hands right underneath the shoulders. Big inhale, down. Exhale, push off. This is good for utilizing all muscles of the upper body, front and back. But you're really going to hit pecs, the chest muscles, tris. Release. If I want to make it a little harder I'm going to extend my toes out on the ball. Inhale, same thing, pull your abs in, navel towards the spine, nice support, try not to let your hips sway, leave everything nice and lifted. To exit, you're going to wonder how to get off of here, bring one foot forward and up. Again, make sure you try that on the floor and master it in both positions on the floor, on your knees and on your toes first."
