"Diagonal Wood Chop on the Bosu. A lot more integrated than the stability of the floor. You want to make sure you've got your feet anchored on the side of that circle on the Bosu. We're going to come up on the diagonal and we're going to come down with lateral flexion. Knees, hips, shoulders stay square to the center. We're going to put that contraction right there in those oblique?s. Come up and then just follow it on down. Knees stay behind the toes, in line with the ankles. That's how far you'll know how to come down in your squat position, and up. Then you want to get to the point where you come to the other side. You're always going to have one side that's smarter than the other. We call that it a smart side and a dumb side. So, you might start shaking more. Take a moment to get your balance, anchor your feet, activate your center of gravity. Come up and contract. We're actually contracting in the opposite side now, and release. If you want to shake it up, mix it up, give it more of a challenge, add in a weight ball. Hand weights can be done but I like the hand position on the medicine ball a little better. Come up, down into squat position, anchor the movement with the oblique?s. Hips, shoulders, knees square to the center. And, once you've got that mastered, you can turn it over and you can get really progressive with it. Diagonal Wood Chop on the Bosu."
