"Breathing, relaxation, meditation are one of the key components to a cool down. You'll even find it part of a warm up, in most yoga classes. It's your chance to reward your body, give your body the dessert that it's earned from all those strenuous poses. For a lot of people, especially in today's world with all the stress we have going on, it's hard to remember to relax, so you kind of have to teach yourself. So this is your chance, to pay back your body, for all it's hard work. Just relax into the mat, this is your time to release all your muscles. Wiggle your fingers, wiggle your toes, let your eyes fall back into your head, nice soft neck, soft thoraces, low back, still supporting the core into the mat but your breathing, into that diaphragmatic rib cage breathing again, such as in your warm up. Big expansion opening up and with each exhale, you're going to feel your muscles melt and relax a little more. Inhale, exhale and as you really find a rhythm, with your breathing and your relaxation and all your muscles have become soft, you're going to kind of float into a meditative state. A lot of times you'll see that done anywhere from, depending on class time and what's allowed. A good five minutes, usually, to even twenty. People have been known to meditate, instead of sleep because it really does put you into a relaxation mode and you'll go "we always like to end our practice with a type of respect." Gesture of no fear, right palm open, left hand faces forward, so you're in acceptance of whatever is ahead of you, for your day and then ending with Nomistay. Hands in prayer position, which means the light in me, celebrates the light in you."
