"Cervial Stretches are great way to start relaxing before you go into your breathing and meditation mode. Had has to hold you up all day long an all through those poses you've had your had in your neck squared with your shoulders. We're just kind of try to find the active brynju motion by letting our ear fall to one side and release. Make sure you're breathing, exhale and neutral. Inhale, exhale, come up ear to shoulder, creating a nice separation between that cervical and that dilt and exhale neutral. Big inhale, now, exhale release. And if you feel you have the endurance and the flexibility, you can add passive resistance trying not to pull on that neck joint but press against and facilitates the stretch up, out and over and release, neutral. The other way find active brynju motion, at your stopping point, before you add in passive resistance, hold; again think of elongation and not pulling or forcing the joint for an active lateral stretch for the cervical spine."
