How to Land a Half Cab

"JOSHUA BLANKENSHIP: Hi, my name is Joshua Blankenship with Expert Village, and today I'm going to teach you how to land a frontside half cab. So, the landing is the most important part of any trick in skateboarding, 'cause if you don't land the trick, it doesn't count. So, you got the basic steps down. You got a good pop, you slide your foot, rotate your shoulders, sucking up your legs. The next stop is to land on the bolts. So, after you rotate around and you're going to be landing, you gotta be sure to look at the bolts the entire time, and your feet are going to go right on top of them. If your feet aren't on top of them, they're too far on the nose, they're too far on the tail, then your board's going to break, you probably going to shoot out 'cause you're not going to be balanced properly and it's going to hurt. And then, you gotta be sure, when you land, to bend your knees and absorb the impact; that way, your roll is smooth and you look cool, too."
