"We're going to talk about another fundamental street trick and that's the nose manual. If you recall a manual is riding on the back two wheels of your skateboard and the front of your skateboard lifted up. Once you learn regular manuals, you might want to move on to try more difficult manual which is the nose manual. A nose manual operates on the same principle as the regular manual except in this case you'll push forward on the nose and ride on the front wheels. You might find that the nose manual is a lot harder than a regular manual but once you get use to foot placement, balance and the correct speed you'll be able to do them faster and longer. Let's try a slow short one just now just to give you a demonstration. Notice that it is easy to fall off the front of the skateboard that's why speed is everything. The more speed you have the more stable your boards going to be. Now let's try another nose manual with a little more speed to show you how much smoother it is. With a little more speed, I went a little bit further also it was easier to maintain my placement on the board, the trick is make sure your front foot is not to far up on the nose firmly planted on the nose and make sure your back foot is in a position around the back bolt to where you can shift it, stabilize it and ride away clean. Learning how to nose manual can lead you to further tricks and also improve your regular manuals."
