"We're talking about skateboarding parts and maintenance and we're going to talk about placing and rotating worn wheels. Eventually you will have to replace or rotate the wheels on the skateboard. After usual wear and tear, you'll notice that a skateboard wheel can start to have a curve to one angle. To balance this out simply rotate the tire or wheel to where the wide part is now on the outside, this will wear the wheels evenly and give you a straight ride. You also want to replace your wheels if they get so worn down that they become too small to be effected. To replace a wheel simply use an appropriate wrench size back the nut off simply slide the wheel off of the axle, turn it around or replace it slide it back on and replace the nut. The most important part of replacing wheels is making sure that the nut is on firmly to attach the wheel to the axle. But not so much that it prevents rolling. There should be a slight bit of play in between the nut and the bottom part to where the wheel touches the truck. A slight shake is exactly where it needs to be, too much causes too much wobble. If you tighten it too much, then the wheel will barley move so remember replace your wheels when they get worn out on one side or worn out all together. Remember tightening and loosing the wheels properly is the key to skateboarding maintenance."
