"We're going to talk about how to do a basic 5-0 truck pivot at the top of the copping of a simple quarter pipe. This trick will prepare you to do 5-0 stalls and 5-0 grinds on copping. You want to approach the ramp as usual knees bent with the front of your board lift above the deck of the ramp. As soon as you feel your back trucks catch, shift the weight of your front foot back around and drop back in quickly. Learning how to do these quickly can lead you learning how to do more advanced tricks using the back trucks of your board. Notice unlike the stall the pivot is one continuous motion, approach the lip of the ramp with the back trucks pivot drop in, roll away smooth with knees bend."
