"We're going to talk about how to do the basic ramp stall of a 50/50 truck stall. Unlike the board stall, you are going to be resting the board on top of the deck of the ramp with both of your trucks of your board on the copping. Approach the ramp with knees bent, lift your front wheels over the deck of the ramp, let your back trucks catch first pivot and even your weight out with both feet over the trucks. Then to re-enter the ramp push back down on the tail pivot on the back truck and re-enter. The key to this trick is keeping both feet over the bolts of your deck at all times. One of the hardest parts of learning this trick is learning how to distribute your weight on back of your heels to stay at the top of the ramp. When first learning how to do this trick, simply stall quickly shift your weight to the back and re-enter. Eventually you will learn how to shift your weight to your heels and stall on the top of the ramp. This will help you from learning how to do 50/50 grinds on a small quarter pipe or a larger half pipe ramp."
