"Hi, we're going to talk about another fundamental part of street skating which is dropping in on a ramp without using your tail. Just simply rolling in over the copping. You are going to start at the deck of the ramp, approach the copping, let the front of your board shift down, your deck will hit the copping. When you feel the deck hitting the copping, shift your weight forward, keep the pressure on the front of your wheels, let your back wheel roll over, bend your knees roll away smooth. Once again the key to this trick is weight distribution and making the trick one continuous motion. Remember when dropping in on a ramp by rolling in, it's important to maintain a steady speed. Going too slow is going to cause you to get hung up on your board and your board won't move with your feet. Going too fast will cause you to miss the copping with your deck and you will have to concentrate with your weight distribution on the transition. The key is to go in one steady motion, feel the pivot of your deck shift your weight forward, bend your knees and roll away smooth."
