Dropping in using your tail, you want to start with the tail of your skateboard on the deck of the ramp. Your back pushing foot part way on the tail and part on the deck of the ramp. Your wheels and trunks will be based against the transition towards the top of the copping. The important part of this trick is weight distribution. Keep your weight towards the back of the skateboard before dropping in and shift it to the front as you roll down. Remember not to lean back too much or your skateboard will fly out from underneath you. If you lean forward too much, you will catch your nose and fall forward. Start with your foot on the back of the tail, then take your front foot move it into regular skating position, bend your knees and roll with curve. Notice one of the keys to dropping in is making it one continuous motion any stall or hesitation can cause your board to fly from underneath you.
