on 8/2/2008 Good stuff all. I think the you should arivemore horizontal, instead of droping in and reseting and chopping behind the knee. That is make it one motion. A double done well is basically a football tackel. Beat him up. Get and angle run him over. Either finish on the mat or run him off of it.

Video Transcript

" Hi! My name is Matthew Moyles. I’m a coach here at Minisink Valley. I’m here on behalf of Expert Village and today we’re going to go over competitive wrestling. The next move we’re going to simulate is called an ideal double. It’s the simplest forms of the double lay takedowns. Here, Richard is going to shoot the ideal double on Josh, he’s going to lead with his right leg and that is going to be his penetration step. Go ahead Richard. Notice how he stops. His arms go behind his opponents knees; these are called the hinges of his knees. What Richard is going to do next is he’s going to chop of the hinges of his knees while he drives forward with his shoulders taking Josh to the mat."
