I'm here to teach you pitching. A good pitcher, and especially when we're younger if we're throwing breaking balls. To be all truthful, anything before 13, 14 years old you should not be throwing a breaking ball. Growth platelets are not developed and in all essence, most kids are taught creaking balls wrongs and are going to do more damage to their elbow. I always take the analogy is if I'm a scout, and that's where maybe kids want to go college or pro. I said I'm going to take a kid that can throw 88 with no breaking ball and teach it to them within a week or 2, and then have it develop over a season. I can't take a kid that's 82 with a great breaking ball, because in all essence as I move up the ladder, 82 miles an hour is really not going to get the job done and it's not a week or 2 week long period that I'm going to be able to teach or get 5-7 miles on a fastball. It's a lot easier to teach the breaking ball down the line. As we move up the ladder, 14 years, 15, is that we use the breaking ball moderation and really learn to develop a change up over the breaking ball to start with.
