Video Transcript

"Hi! My name is Mike Lumley. On behalf of Expert Village, I'm here to teach you pitching. We're going to balance up, forward, and throw. As we'll see here when I'm landing, we'll have a landing area that stays within back heel, toe. My landing stage right within my back foot. If I drew a line of where I wanted to land, that's exactly where I want to land. If I'm too far for me as a right hander or too far to the close side or the right side, that's going to cause twisting and locking up. If I move to the open side or my glove side, it causes me to open up too much and flare out, and eventually have some elbow or shoulder problems. We want to make sure as a guide that we take ourselves and be direct right to our path."
