"Hi, my name is Christopher Howell with Expert Village and today I'm going to talk to you about how to watch soccer and it's basics. If you were to put your kid in some type of little league soccer, this would be the kind of goal you would kind of get, right here. And for regulation size, kiddie size, any type of size, this is how they do the netting which is more of a cross stitch pattern which is just big enough to kind of, you know, grab the ball, but you know, it's not too big to where the ball is going to go through. So if the ball hits the net, it's just going to stop it, just like that. No matter how hard the kick or how fast, it's very, very seldom the ball is going to actually kick through or get stuck in the net. That's just not really going to happen. But this is what the net looks like in regulation size, peewee size, any type of size. And usually this is how they run it through, they'll kind of, they'll wrap it around the top and they'll probably put some type of safety pin up here or sometimes they'll even have little notches. But a lot of times, they like to watch out for the notches because anything that protrudes from the goal itself is potentially harmful for the goalie or anyone else who runs into that goal by accident because they're not paying attention."
