"Hi, I'm Mara Keith-Hunter for Expert Village. Today I would be talking about how to clip a horse. The next thing we are going to talk about is how to store your clippers blades. It is important that you take good care of your clippers and your blades so they don't rust and loose their edge, their sharpness. So when you take the clippers off which you do by just pressing down on this lever here and pressing up on it and popping off. Notice that there is a lot of hair in here and you can take a little brush and actually get this hair out and I recommend doing that or you can just use your fingers. So we are going to put that down for now. As far as the blades go, I recommend storing them in a blade wash and by storing them in a blade wash, you are going to keep them from rusting. You want to have a water proof container and a leak proof container. All you are going to do is put your blades in the wash and this keeps from getting dirty, it keeps them from rusting. It is a nice clean environment for your blades. "
