"Hello! I'm Kelli and this is Colby on behalf of Expert Village. I am going to show you my opinions and techniques on how to groom a horse. So the first we are going to need is to put our halter on our horse. So we are going to take our right hand, reach it around and grab her nose. We are going to take the crown piece of her halter and place her nose in her and pull it really gently up over her ears. Make sure her forelock or her mane isn't stuck in there, pulling in any uncomfortable way. We are going to take our clip here and we are going to clip to a little o-ring on the side. Some halters will have the crown piece that goes up over the ears, so all you do is just slide it though there and buckle it up if your halter is made that way. You want to make sure that it doesn't rub or doesn't pull so it usually sits a couple of inches up from the nostril and your nose and so that it is not too tight. That is how you put your halter on your horse. "
