"Hi, I'm Mara Keith-Hunter for Expert Village. Today I would be talking about how to clip a horse. The next thing we are going to do is clip a bridle path. This is a really useful area to have clipped so that the halter and the bridle sits just smoothly on his pull. So I'm going to have a stool here cause he is rather tall. This way I get a nice angle so I can really see what I am doing. It is important that you are careful not to clip his forelock. So I'm going to start by clipping away from the forelock and the bridle path can be a long as you like. Usually a inch in a half to 2 inches is really all you need. So just the width of the halter bridle. So being careful, remember they can be a little shy around the ears. Just slowly bringing the clippers up. You really want to get a nice close shave here. Just like anything you are clipping you want to make sure that you get to see it from both sides to make sure it is nice and even. Carefully turning the clippers on and that looks good."
