"Hi, this is Mara Keith-Hunter for Expert Village. Today I would be talking about how to tack up a horse. Next we are going to clean the girth and the saddle. Start by ringing out the sponge and applying just a little bit of cleaner. On the girth it is really important to get the under side the area that is contact with the horse. You just want to try and really work all that dirt off the entire thing. Next we are going to clean the saddle and just a basic cleaning all over. In the grooves, getting the dust out. You want to also make sure to get your leathers. It is important to clean to avoid any erosion that would cause them to break. "
