"So as we come over, as soon as I feel my left rein I'm going to drop down until I feel that I can not sit down anymore. Like that kick the left foot out of the stirrup and jump down. So this provides a lower point of jumping down, there is less feet in the stirrup and the ground. Now the same finishing procedure apply, we want to make sure that we pull the stirrup up. Reins come over the head and the second stirrup comes up. Some people also like to loosening the girth after a ride as I find there horses appreciate the relief from the girth. "
